ESCOT 2011

Software composition techniques -- such as aspect-oriented programming, feature-oriented programming, model composition approaches, and the like -- are fast gaining wide attention in both research and industry environments. Therefore, there is a pressing need to define proper mechanisms and approaches to assess contemporary composition techniques. Empirical assessment is a key activity to enable us to reach evidence and learn about the benefits and drawbacks of such techniques.

ESCOT provides a forum to present and discuss empirical evaluations, as well preliminary results and initial experimental designs.
