Trampolin's history is totally linked to PUC-Rio. The founder, Prof. Luis Felipe Carvalho, is a professor at the Department of Business Administration and coordinated the university's entrepreneurship center for 6 years. From a desire to unite theory and practice, he decided to found this startup in the Fintech segment. For this, he joined several students and former students of the University, among them are two students from the Department of Informatics. Miguel Corti studied Computer Engineering and was the company's first developer, participating in the foundation and creating the Backend that would later process the transaction of several digital accounts currently known in the market. Rodrigo Veiga, a Computer Science student, was the second developer and also participated in the company's founding process. He was responsible for creating the first digital account front end. Along with them, several other students from the Design, Administration and Engineering courses joined. Likewise, angel investors joined in, including André Kelmanson, entrepreneur and also a former student of the Department of Informatics.
